Today I finished drawing HONEY, one of my beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback girls and I AM SO SO HAPPY with the drawing, with the size, with absolutely everything. On the 15th of March, which is a few days from now she turns ONE :) Its crazy how fast they grow. Tomorrow I get to take the drawing to the wonderful Arts Edge Gallery for scanning, colour matching and framing. Then I'm going to enter this piece into the Wanneroo Visual Arts competition and hopefully they choose to exhibit her :) This is by far my favourite and she'll be available to buy in prints. Whoop whoop !!!
I named this piece 'Adorable Guilt" because I took that photo of Honey after we discovered she destroyed all our board games (see photos beside and below). She knew she was naughty because she couldnt look at me when I tried to take this photo. I couldnt stay mad at her for long, how could anyone with a face like that. Lucky for us there is a plus side, she only destroyed the outer boxes so we are still able to play the games.
Drawing Time 38 hours.
Size: 420mm x 594mm
Medium: Prismacolor, PolyChromos, Solvent
Paper is just plane old white Cartridge Paper.
